Walmart mass shooting suspect who killed six and himself is named as 31-year-old Andre Bing

The Independent can reveal that the gunman accused of killing six people in a mass shooting at a Walmart store in Chesapeake in Virginia before taking out the gun on himself was a night manager. 

Andre Bing, a 31 year-old Walmart worker from Chesapeake is accused of setting fire to a gun in the break room at the store on Sam's Circle around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Police said six victims, including a 21 year-old coworker, were killed in Tuesday’s attack. The body of the victim was discovered in the break room of the store with two other victims. 

Although the motive behind the attack is not known, surviving employees revealed that the 31 year-old had "issues” with other staff during the time leading up to the shooting. 

Walmart has confirmed the identity and whereabouts of the gunman in a statement sent to The Independent Wednesday. 

While details about the tragedy at our Chesapeake store in Virginia are still being uncovered, authorities have confirmed that multiple victims were killed
