Tyler Reddick had to withdraw from Sunday's NASCAR race at Martinsville following experiencing an apparent head injury to his head. During the race Reddick took himself off of the race
only to be examined by NASCAR's medical infield team to determine the cause of the problem, and was removed from the race due to.
Richard Childress Racing issued this statement following Reddick quit the race "Tyler Reddick didn't feel well at the time of today's NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway,
prompting him to leave the car earlier," the statement said. "He was assessed and removed from the infield medical center, and he was able to pass his neurological exam."
RCR also stated that Reddick is scheduled to be examined again at some point during the week. Reddick was on the radio and say that Reddick has never felt this like before.
Reddick was in the news earlier in the year when he revealed he was departing RCR racing, as well as the No. eight Chevrolet Camaro ZL for Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin's team 23XI
The deal was to be completed within two years. However, Richard Childress was not only unhappy with the announcement, but also that announcement was made at a time
which was made during the midst of NASCAR season, the racer was forced to take Reddick out. Reddick will join with fellow NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace on the team next year.
