The Viral Drew Brees, Lightning Strike Video Is Fake

A video of Drew Brees, an ex-NFL quarterback, went viral on social media Friday. 

Brees was seen in the clip seemingly being struck by lightning while filming for PointsBet Sportsbook. 

The viral video raised concern in the sports world. PointsBet issued a statement regarding the incident but did not disclose Brees' condition.

Drew gets out of an ambulance in the second spot. The huge lightning strike that you can see in the first video wasn't real. Reporter Paul Pabst tweeted that nobody was in danger.
