The Giants could face the Eagles on Sunday but in the absence of Running forward Saquon Barkley.

In the early morning of Friday, Giants head coach Brian Daboll stated Barkley's neck was "a bit sore."

When asked if there was any doubt regarding Barkley's status during this week's game, Daboll replied, "Probably got to see."

Barkley was restricted in practice on Thursday. The team has clearly done whatever it can to reduce the All-Pro running back's workload this week.

It's not a surprise that Barkley has been the mainstay of the Giants in the offensive department this season.

He's racked up 1,055 rushing yards as well as 241 receiving yards. He also scored eight touchdowns in total.

If Barkley does not play on the day, then the Giants will most likely divide the burden between Matt Breida and Gary Brightwell.
