michigan's head coach responds to transfer of veteran quarterback

After Michigan's huge victory against Ohio State, quarterback Cade McNamara made it to in the process of transferring. 

McNamara was the one who led the Wolverines to a Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff appearance last season before losing his starting spot at quarterback to J.J. McCarthy. 

He'll be looking for an alternative school after transferring as a graduate. 

After McNamara's announcement, according to the Michigan Insider's Alejandro Zuniga, Wolverines quarterback coach Matt Weiss praised the "Michigan legend. 

"He's an excellent athlete," Weiss said of McNamara. "He's an outstanding player with a bright potential for the future 

We are all grateful to him last season, and for all the other ways that he did to help us grow into 22.

Weiss stated that the team is "really happy" with her contributions of McNamara to the team, and wishes him "nothing less than success" at the next school he attends.
