This week, the New York Jets replaced quarterback Zach Wilson with Mike White. White immediately played one of his best games as a Jets QB this season. Will Wilson ride the pine against Minnesota this weekend?

He is apparently, except for something unexpected. Robert Saleh, the Jets' head coach, announced Friday that White would start and Joe Flacco would be his backup.

Wilson will not be wearing his uniform for Sunday's Minnesota game unless the Jets make a rare decision to activate three of their quarterbacks. Wilson's chances of getting his job back in Week 14 are not good.

The Jets will prioritize the quarterback with the greatest chance of winning over the No. 1 draft pick. 2nd overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. At the moment, it appears that White is the winner

Mike White already has two games in which he throws for more than 300 yards and three touchdowns in just four starts with the New York Jets.

Zach Wilson, on the other hand, has only one 300-yard game in his 20-year career and no three-TD games.

The Jets don’t need him to be a quarterback franchise. Given their current play, even being a game manager might be enough to keep them in the playoff race.
