Jerry Jones ahead of Odell Beckham Jr.'s visit with Cowboys: 'I want it to work'

The unsigned wide receiver will meet with The Dallas Cowboys, his third team of the past week, between Monday and Tuesday, on Tuesday and Monday at The Star in Frisco 

Texas The venue is where he'll undergo a physical examination and have a meeting with the team's owners, coaches and players 

He's scheduled to attend a meeting with the team's leadership council, which is comprised consisting of 11 Cowboys players of various positions, on Tuesday. 

"I normally would say that anytime you can create an affirmative commitment, a belief, I think that's good stuff, yes," General Manager and owner Jerry Jones said. 

"In a business that has a lot of psychology to it, I think that's the case. I don't think it's necessary for us to have success with this team and in the playoffs, but it would be a positive 

I want this to work. I want it to work. But that means I'm going to be trying to make it work. So I'm going to be looking for reasons to do, not reasons not to do." 

The first phase of the tour is to examine Beckham's health. Beckham suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament of his left leg during Super Bowl LVI.
