The New York Giants (7-3) make their way to the Big D to face the Dallas Cowboys (7-3) in an unusual Thanksgiving Day matchup between the two teams 

Five things you should be aware of regarding the game of Week 12. 

The Giants and Cowboys have played more than 121 times since Dallas was admitted to in the NFL in 1960, however 

they only once did they play in the 62 years since Thanksgiving Day despite being division rivals for the majority of the 62 seasons. 

The game was played the year 1992, in 1992 at Texas Stadium -- a 30-3 defeat by Jimmy Johnson's legendary Cowboys. 

The Giants have played 15 games on Thanksgiving day since 1926. They have 7-5-3 records. The majority of the games were on the field. This is the Giants' five appearance at Thanksgiving since 1938 

Their three other games post-38 took place in 1982, in Detroit (when Lawrence Taylor returned an interception for 97 yards to score victory) Then they suffered
