Dallas Cowboys: Where they stand and what lies ahead

After their win on Thanksgiving against The New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys are now sitting at 8-3 and have set the scene perfectly for the remainder of the season. 

There was a time when it wasn't easy but the American Team ended the Thanksgiving Day losing streak by beating their old division foe winning their last game in 2018 when they beat their rivals, the (then) Washington Redskins 31-26 

The Cowboys are now 32-23 on Thanksgiving Day. Now Dallas has a much-needed 10-day vacation before taking to their opponents, the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. 

In the first place, the Cowboys should have a break of 10 days to recover 

Prior to this week's game the team suffered an illness sweep throughout the locker room that put several players questionable. 

This forced Dallas to summon players like Takk McKinley since the team wasn't sure who would be unable to participate in the 

Alongside the sickness that is sweeping the locker room injuries have been plaguing certain important players
