The Cowboys created space in their roster on Tuesday by releasing defensive lineman Tarell Basham

The previous campaign, Basham appeared in all 17 games for Dallas. He recorded 39 total stops, 3.5 bags, and forced the fumble.

Unfortunately Basham and his team, haven't been active in the past few weeks. DeMarcus Lawrence Dorance Armstrong Sam Williams, Dante Fowler Jr., and Takkarist McKinley all were ahead of Basham on the depth chart.

Basham could be able to get more playing time in other teams. The former third-round selection is credited with 123 tackles as well as 11 sacks.

Maybe a team in need of help with pass-rush will take the chance to play Basham before the playoffs start.

The Cowboys can add 53 players to their roster by bringing in a returning player who has been injured or an unsigned free agent.

There's no doubt that many people in Dallas are hopeful that Odell Beckham Jr. will be added to the roster. The player is expected to make an appearance with the Cowboys at the beginning of December.
