The Dallas Cowboys head into Sunday as a huge favorite over their rivals the Houston Texans. However, they'll be glad to get one player back on the offense, regardless of the.

When he spoke to the media this Friday Cowboys director of football Mike McCarthy declared that the wide receiver James Washington is "ready to start" next weekend.

McCarthy said Washington is confident that Washington is poised for a debut on the team when they play the Texans.

Washington was injured by a fracture to one of his feet bones in training camp. He was then placed on injured reserve prior to the season's start.

However, Washington has been doing everything he can to recover in the off-season to be part of the team during the final period in the normal season.

Washington is entering his first season as a member of his new Cowboys following the signing of a one-year contract with the team in March

He was a player for the past four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, establishing himself as a dangerous threat to the deep.
