The Dallas Cowboys entered the bye week with a few bumps and bruises. They emerged relatively fit but then fell back into the same spot as the rest teams

The loss they suffered in the 10th game of the season against the Green Bay Packers included several players who were more battered than the scratches, appearing in the practice reports all week

As the week of prepping to play their game against the Minnesota Vikings went on, bugs swept through the locker room, affecting some players who come through the previous game unharmed

DT Quinton Bohanna as well as punter Bryan Anger both fell ill and missed the two previous practices, and the latter was ruled out on Friday.

Both are carrying a questionable tag, and so do four other players who have actual injuries

Thankfully, the needle appears to be moving up for both. The RB Ezekiel Elliott (knee) took part in training in a limited manner for the second straight week,

but his outlook for the running back's star player must be brighter as Dallas did not make a call to an insurance policy for the position.
