CFP Committee defends Georgia at No. 1, compares to Ohio State and Michigan

The College Football Playoff Committee was called into question late on Tuesday night, with questions regarding Georgia as a competitor against Big Ten powerhouses Ohio State and Michigan 

The Buckeyes and Wolverines as well as the Bulldogs are both 10-0 and the team that wins the Ohio State 

Michigan match is expected to make it to the CFP final four, after playing an undetermined opponent with three losses in the Big Ten West Division 

The third list of rankings was released late on Tuesday night, with Georgia at No.1 followed by Ohio State, Michigan, TCU, Tennessee, LSU, USC, Alabama, and Clemson 

All of them with the exception of Alabama are still in the race for a spot in the playoffs for four teams starting on December. 4 

The teams will be paired in the CFP semifinals on December. 31 between Atlanta as well as Glendale, Ariz. before The CFP Championship match on January. 9 in Greater Los Angeles 

CFP Chairman Boo Corrigan was questioned about how close to No. 2 Ohio State and No. 3 Michigan are part of the Kirby Smart's Georgia football team.
