A single winning ticket for the $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot was sold in California

One winning ticket for the record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot was offered by Altadena, California 

lottery officials announced on Tuesday which made the lucky ticket owner the winner of the biggest jackpot prize in lottery history 

The ticket was purchased at Joe's Service Center, the California Lottery said on Twitter. Results posted on Powerball.com similarly 

said there was a winner that had all six numbers matching in California which gave odds that were 1 for 292.2 million, as per the Multi-State Lottery Association. 

The numbers that won, were revealed on Tuesday morning after the drawing on Monday night was delayed 1033-41-47-556. The Powerball was 10 according to the organization. 

Although you probably weren't lucky enough to win the lottery, the lottos are encouraging participants to examine their tickets for the possibility you've won any of the other but smaller 

prizes. According to the Multi-State Lottery Association, more than 11.2 million tickets have won cash prizes that totaled $98.1 million
